Pasta comes in just about any shape under the warm Italian sun. I got this recipe from an old cookbook back when I had no idea how to cook.

I’ve been making it ever since for friends and family, and it never gets old. I always change it up a little to keep it more interesting, but the main three ingredients remain the same: pasta, bacon & tomatoes. I used whole wheat pasta this time to pretend to be a bit healthier, but this is an indulgent dish.

My husband claims that he has never had anything like it, and he likes to call this recipe “Pasta a la Aura”. ❤️
